Gauges are either 0.8mm or 1.0mm – look by individual product. Different materials have different styles. Surgical Steel - Ball, Cone, Disk, Star, Heart. Black Steel (PVD) - Ball, Cone, Star, Heart. Black Titanium (PVD) - Ball, Cone. Zircon Steel (gold colour PVD) – Ball only. Titanium is the best metal for those with allergies with less likelihood of an adverse reaction.
